MidDec Scandinavia AB have their facilities at Åkroken Science Park. Åkroken Science Park is a creative meeting place for people and ideas, where development and innovation is in focus. They offer a stimulating and growth-oriented environment which, with the help of powerful support tools, creates space for companies like MidDec to grow and develop.

MidDec Scandinavia AB is a member of the Fiber Optic Valley - an organization which supports and operates innovation projects in broadband infrastructure and sensor technology .

As a University, the Mid Sweden University is a resource for development and growth. Several of the courses at the university and a large part of its research is at the forefront in their fields. They love to interact with companies in mutual research projects to solve real problems.

Sensible things that communicate, STC, , is a research center that develops sensor-based systems and services in electronics and computer science with a focus on industrial IT and digital services. STC:s strenght is in combining different research areas in close collaboration with industry. MidDec is currently a part of the national competence-hub for micro and nano electronics which STC is a co-owner of.

Over the years MidDec has cooperated with IEAP in Prague with several projects. IEAP is a scientific academic unit at Czech Technical University in Prague, which focuses on applied research in areas such as radiation detectors.

MidDec has been involved in numerous research and development projects in which Vinnova has been an active financier.

Länsstyrelsen Västernorrland and Almi has contributed to MidDec:s development from spin-off to company.
